Agency rule: AI may accelerate drafts, but it does not replace source checking, client approval or accountability for a published claim.
What agencies need to add
- Do not paste client strategy, unreleased launch plans, passwords, audience exports or private briefs into public tools.
- Verify every statistic, testimonial, legal claim and competitor statement before publication.
- Keep the client’s brand rules and approval process ahead of speed.
- Check licensed assets and usage rights before delivering creative work.
Define the approval boundary
State which work can be AI-assisted internally and which work needs a named reviewer. The key boundary is external publication: a person must approve the final claim, asset and brand voice.
Make disclosure rules client-specific
Some clients require disclosure, some contracts restrict tools, and some platforms have their own labelling requirements. Your policy should instruct staff to follow the strictest applicable client, platform or legal rule.
